Ah, pumpkin spice. That thing of Fall. Honestly, it started at Starbucks with their Pumpkin Spice Latte a few years back. This year I am enjoying Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Coffee. A little obsessed, and why not? Found some funny and unusual items that purport to be pumpkin spiced. Check out the gallery below. Enjoy the season.
And a pretend one just to keep it interesting…
The Art Student Showcase was an incredible art gallery that I stumbled upon one day while living in NYC. Paul Toner, the owner, worked with up and coming artists in this unique location in Soho. The prices were reasonable and you could get some of the most amazing art. It was a hidden gem. Recently found out that Art Student Showcase has closed. But Paul informed me that he is opening a new store in Rome. So, next time you are in Italy visit Paul and his showcase, and tell him I said “Ciao”.
Art Student Showcase located at 248 Lafayette St, New York, NY
It’s that time of year. Tiffany & Co. is one place you cannot go wrong. Not only do they have the most beautiful jewelry, but they also carry other affordable gift items as well, including: champagne flutes, key rings, cufflinks, ornaments, and more. You can even buy a copy of the Breakfast at Tiffany’s book by Truman Capote. What could be better than opening that blue box on Christmas morning? Classic, refined, elegant.
Ah, Trader Joe’s.
Trader Joe’s is named after its founder, Joe Coulombe. The chain began in 1958 as a Greater Los Angeles area chain of “Pronto Market” convenience stores. Trader Joe’s describes itself as “your neighborhood grocery store” or “your unique grocery store”. Products sold include gourmet foods, organic foods, vegetarian food, unusual frozen foods, imported foods, domestic and imported wine and beer, “alternative” food items, and staples like bread, cereal, eggs, dairy, coffee and produce.
