Love, Simon is a new film about a 17 year old and he hasn’t told anyone he is gay.
Love, Simon is an upcoming American romantic comedy-dramafilm directed by Greg Berlanti based on the novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. The film stars Nick Robinson, Josh Duhamel and Jennifer Garner. It centers around Simon Spier, a closeted gay teenager in high school who is forced to balance his friends, his family, and the blackmailer threatening to out him to the entire school, while simultaneously attempting to discover the identity of the anonymous classmate he has fallen in love with online.
Love, Simon is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 16, 2018, by 20th Century Fox. It is historically significant as the first film ever released by a major studio to focus on a gay teenage romance.
The last line is why I am posting about this.
“It is historically significant as the first film ever released by a major studio to focus on a gay teenage romance.”
That means this movie will change lives, for the better.
Let’s all go see it, shall we!
