From Ted.com

Susan David, a Harvard Medical School psychologist, studies emotional agility: the psychology of how we can use emotion to bring forward our best selves in all aspects of how we love, live, parent and lead.

Psychologist Susan David shares how the way we deal with our emotions shapes everything that matters: our actions, careers, relationships, health and happiness. In this deeply moving, humorous and potentially life-changing talk, she challenges a culture that prizes positivity over emotional truth and discusses the powerful strategies of emotional agility. A talk to share.

This is a powerful talk, one which we should all take time to listen.

  1. Wow. I love this so much. Such good timing for these types of messages & conversations. Both personally, professionally and globally. Emotions are data! Discomfort is the price of admission!
Emotional agility. Lifelong correspondence with your heart. (I may loved this idea the most). Thanks for sharing.

  2. Dad was telling me just this morning that the person you mentioned here is the same one he was or was going to listen too also! You guys have some kind of serendipity going on!

  3. This was very powerful! I feel so true also. Thanks for sharing this talk, I’m going to think of this talk and feel and examine the affects on it on my own life. ♥️
