Lady Bird

poster-largeLady Bird is sure to be up for Best Picture. It’s a quirky tale of an adolescent catholic high school girl finding her way in life. Comical and touching, it delves into relationships with parents, siblings, friends, and lovers. Looks at identity, friendship, sex, ambition, religion, loyalty, and love.

There are wonderful performances from Saorise Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Lucas Hedges (who basically makes me cry in every film he is in), Lois Smith, Timothee Chalamet, and Tracy Letts.

I’m betting it gets better and better in repeat viewings.

Time to fly, the slogan says…
