From Wikipedia: Stitch Fix is an online subscription and personal shopping service in the USA. It was founded by Katrina Lake in 2011.
From my Mother’s suggestion I just recently gave Stitch Fix a try. I’d always dreamed of having a personal stylist, but that was always going to be too much money. Stuff of dreams…
As it turns out, Stitch Fix cleverly makes this dream a possibility. While you’ve got to consider you are still going to pay for nice clothes, it takes some of the drudgery out of in store shopping.
You sign up and complete a profile with all your color, size, and style choices. You also pick the frequency of shipments based on your need.
Then, their stylist puts together looks for you based on all the factorsl, and any other information you share about your clothing needs.
The items arrive at your house, you try them on, keep what you want, return the rest in a pre-addressed shipping bag.
My first experience was fun. While I am only keeping 2 items out of 5, it was interesting to have someone else bring their perspective to my wardrobe.
