This Fall there are 2 singles that have been released by 2 major artists: Justin Beiber and Adele.

Justin Bieber has just released “Sorry” and Adele has just released “Hello”. Both artists are at the top of their game. Justin’s and Adele’s video came out on the same day, October 22nd, 2015. As of the writing of this blog Justin’s video already has 40 million views, and Adele’s video has over 115 million views.

Incredible times for artists who can reach so many people in such a short amount of time. The rules of music have changed so dramatically. And we are lucky enough to get to witness it and enjoy it.

And they are fortunate as artists to have such amazing exposure to their work.

Both songs are wildly different and share a similar quality, they are hits.

Thought it would be interesting to mash these 2 artists together. At least for this blog.

Enjoy Sorry and Hello.

  1. I really find it increasingly difficult to listen to and enjoy anything Bieber related. He’s proving himself to be spoiled, entitled, immature, & obnoxious. I hope this is just some ugly growing pains & a phase, but I’m not so sure that it’s not just his true character.
Adele is an amazing artist and always represents herself in such a classic & classy way. Glad she’s back on the music scene.

    • Yes. I hear you. I do however challenge you to consider that Justin Bieber has been a natural talent from a very young age (see the film Never Say Never). And perhaps he has not been able to handle the pressures of fame well. But even through rough spots he is coming out with relevant and popular music. I tend to be forgiving to anyone who puts themselves out there as an artist or individual. It cannot be easy having your every move scrutinized.

And Adele, well, she still sets the bar.

      • I hear you and agree it must be extremely difficult to always be watched and scrutinized. None of us can be “on” all the time that’s for sure. He is talented, no questioning that, I just hope he gets his act together one day. Although he’ll always have his money to keep him company.
