Oscar Pistorius

There has been a watershed moment at the 2012 London Olympics. Oscar Pistorius, a double leg amputee, ran as an Olympian in the games. While many moments will have a great impact: US Woman’s Team winning the gold team medal, Michael Phelps becoming the most decorated Olympian of all time, Gabby Douglas winning the All-Around Gymnastics gold medal. It will be Pistorius running in the Olympics in 2012 that will prove to be the most impactful. His presence changes the games forever.
